Why You Should Attend OWASP AppSec USA 2017
September 20th, 2017 | By Jscrambler | 3 min read
We are thrilled to announce that Jscrambler will be exhibiting at OWASP AppSec USA 2017, a conference that will be held between the 21st and 22nd of September at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida!
OWASP AppSec conferences don't need a presentation. They are the premier gathering for software security managers and researchers enthusiasts.
These conferences bring together the community interested in application security and enable professionals in this field of expertise to share cutting-edge ideas, initiatives, and technological improvements.
Let us clarify why being at this conference is being in the right place at the right time:
1. DEMOS everywhere
If you are interested in learning more about the security needs of your web applications, you should meet us at booth S20. We will be showcasing our solution to everyone interested in our technology, introducing our two modules:
Code Integrity module: the only solution that guarantees your application's code is tamper-proof, self-defensive, and concealed with powerful obfuscation techniques combined with polymorphic behavior. Jscrambler can restrict when, where, and by whom the application is executed through the use of Code Locks. Real-time notifications and self-defending capabilities including anti-tampering and anti-debugging are other security layers that can protect your web applications and business.
Webpage Integrity module: the solution you need if you want to get visibility of what is happening on the client-side, by monitoring and protecting your website against code injections, Man-in-the-Browser (MIBT) attacks, DOM-tampering, and data exfiltration.
Crafting the next-generation Man-in-the-Browser Trojan
Talking about Man-in-the-Browser attacks, our CTO Pedro Fortuna was selected to present his exclusive talk on Crafting the next-generation Man-in-the-Browser Trojan.
If you are worried about Banking Trojans like Zeus, Neverquest, Gozi or Dridex, you should not miss this presentation, based on our work.
On stage, Pedro will fast-forward to a not-so-distant future of MITB attacks by demoing a homegrown MITB trojan that is resistant to a number of current defenses by tampering with headers and by exploiting JavaScript code polymorphism, holds capabilities that range from credential and data leakage to website hijacking.
We'll also cover approaches to defeat these next-gen trojans by employing similar code-attacking techniques and demoing how to detect and react to these trojans.
Sponsor Passport Program
All conference-goers will receive a Passport which may be entered into a drawing by visiting our sponsor booth and other exhibitors to receive a “stamp”.
Check your attendee bag for your Exhibitor Passport to learn how to play.
