John Elliott is a Security Advisor at Jscrambler. Before Jscrambler, he was one of Mastercard’s representatives to the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, where he helped to develop version 4 of PCI DSS. He’s also worked at Visa Europe in a similar role and has implemented PCI DSS at large companies. He continues to consult widely on the PCI standards and other technology governance, risk, and compliance matters.

John is a Chartered Fellow of BCS, The Chartered Institute of IT, and holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Northumbria University.
